We are delighted to – albeit somewhat belatedly – present to you our Annual Report, "Highlights 2022". Some of you already know that the digital infrastructure of the University of Duisburg-Essen was victim of a massive cyber attack at the end of last year. As a result, we had no access to our files and software for a long time, so that this year, the Annual Report comes to you in the middle of June.

That being said, we are proud that the Annual Report, “Highlights 2022” I available now. Once again you will find a short round-up of our scientific endeavors in 2022, as well as impressions from the 2022 Erwin L. Hahn Lecture & Workshop, interesting facts and much more.
