26 years of involvement in the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) and numerous contributions to MRI research and application - that is certainly worthy of a distinction. The ISMRM thought so too, and awarded honorary membership to Prof. Dr. Harald H. Quick, Professor of High Field and Hybrid MR Imaging and Director of the Erwin L. Hahn Institute for MR Imaging, at the 2023 congress in Toronto, Canada.
